Arugam Bay is known as a surfers paradise and for being one of the best beaches in Sri Lanka. It is one of those places in the world, that you must visit at least once in a lifetime. With world-famous Yala National Park as its neighbor, Arugam Bay is lucky to be surrounded by a rich wildlife, like plenty of migrating birds, elephants, crocodiles and the occasional leopard.
The bay is popular and a great place to stay whether you want to enjoy the tranquility, the beach life or the wonderful nature. During the European winter months, Arugam Bay is quiet, lovely and relaxed. We are grateful during these months to have rain showers now and then and see the plants and flowers bloom and grow.
